Have you ever considered making lace?

What do you mean? In a way other than knitting it? I've looked into making needlepoint lace but I haven't gotten around to actually trying it yet.

Yes, that's what I meant. One of my friends make really fine, small lace, and I don't quite understand how it's done.

Interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of your friends lace if you have any or can point me to some.

Unfortunately, she doesn't seem to have any photos of it - she doesn't have a dA, so I just stalked her facebook... I have seen it in person, though. Your knit lace reminded me of her needleworked (at least I think that's it) lace. :)

I don't suppose you could let your friend know I'm interested in the lace she make, could you? It's hard to find anybody who's make needlepoint lace anymore and you've got me all interested in what your friend is doing.

This was my first time using it and I did enjoy it. The only problem I had was that their were two knots in the skein. I hate dealing with knots.

OMG that's gorgeous!

What's the difficulty level on the pattern? I LOVE lace!

It's fairly difficult. The chart for the biggest section is 48 stitches wide and over 70 rows long. Definitely requires a lot of concentration.
